Primal
I wanted to create a dynamic pose with a clean line of action that would look well from every angle on a 3d printed maquette

Trying a third pose

This was the first night sketch where I thought that It was very close already :), I love to capture every day the same angles to see the evolution. Sometimes you lose something but mostly the more effort you put in the better!

Primal

Spear character from the Adult Swim show "PRIMAL"
I love everything created by Genndy Tartakovsky and Primal just blew my mind! After so many centuries the story of survival is pretty much the same.. The goal was to translate Spear in 3D as close as possible from the show. SInce this is a character with a rich range of emotions I decided to make a wild rage pose and one more solemn.
I am planning to do a series of videos to 3d print this guy in resin, from technical and visual decistions using the new features of Zbrush 2020 till final postproduction of the printed piece, so if you want see more dailies you can follow me on IG as @matiaszadicoff as well where I post more often.
I have a full character development course with almost 2000 happy students! Now with english and portuguese subtitles at https://www.domestika.org/es/courses/285-creacion-de-personajes-del-2d-al-3d/matias_zadicoff

I hope you like you!
