The awesome concept by Ben Hayte that got me in this project, I love the vulnerability, sad and funny feel about Ned.

Howdy Ned! RELOAD movie

Around a year ago, I was contacted by Mike Amos, Supervising Animator at DreamWorks, who is developing his own short film; 'RELOAD'. The idea and style was so different, combining live action B&W 35mm footage with CG characters. When I saw the amazing character design by Ben Hayte for Ned, the lead character, I was in! I'm really excited to show the modeling, surfacing and hair groom that I have been working on. Modeled in zBrush, surfaced in Substance Painter, topology, Udim sets, Arnold Render in Maya.
With the rigging also complete, I can't wait to see Ned and the film come to life!
